Former Predator slayer Arnold Schwarzenegger said his rivalry with Sylvester Stallone in the 1980s and 90s “got out of control,” primarily because a lot of their movies during that time had been released nearly back-to-back.
In an episode of “The Graham Norton Show” (via NME), Schwarzenegger went on to explain the Hollywood rivalry.
“We were movie rivals, but we took the competitiveness to the extreme — we each had to have the best body, we had to kill more people in our films, and we had to have the biggest guns,” Schwarzenegger said. “It got out of control, and we tried to derail each other.”
This wasn’t the first time either one has spoken about their rivalry. In a Forbes interview, Stallone said that they “really disliked each other i…

As such, FIFA said he has been banned for life from all football…
Wales coach Chris Coleman insisted his team hold no fear coming up against Zlatan Ibrahimovic as they close out their Euro 2016 preparations in Sweden.
Sunday s international friendly in Stockholm will be Wales final warm-up fixture before the European Championship gets underway in France, starting June 10.
Wales will be provided a stern test against captain Ibrahimovic, who is reportedly set to join Manchester United on a free transfer as he prepares to lead Sweden at Euro 2016.
Despite the challenge, Coleman said his players are relishing the opportunity of going head-to-head with the towering striker after he scored 50 goals in all competitions for Paris Saint-Germain in 2015-16.
I don t think any of my players have played against Zlatan, Coleman said…
Raheem Sterling has been named the Football Writers Association (FWA) Footballer of the Year for 2019.
The Manchester City star has enjoyed a stunning 2018-19 season for club and country, scoring 17 goals and providing 10 assists in the club s relentless battle against Liverpool to retain the Premier League title.
City have already lifted back-to-back EFL Cups and Sterling was on hand to score the decisive penalty in February s shoot-out triumph over Chelsea at Wembley, where he returned the following month to net a hat-trick in England s 5-0 Euro 2020 qualifying demolition of the Czech Republic.
Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk beat Sterling to the Professional Footballers Association Player of the Year prize on Sunday, with the 24-year-old instead coll…
Newcastle United star Hatem Ben Arfa said he would be open to a move to Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.
The attacking midfielder joined Newcastle from French outfit Marseille on a four-and-a-half year deal in 2011, having initially linked up with the club on loan.
Ben Arfa has quickly established himself as one of the most talented players in English football but the 25-year-old, who is currently in France as he recovers from a hamstring injury, says a return to his native country would be an opportunity too difficult to pass up.
Signing for PSG is a childhood dream, Ben Arfa told Le Parisien.
If there is a proposal, I will study it with interest. If there is a proposal if is important.
PSG its sound lives in my heart. If I could play the…
